We invite you to a CEA Members'Day Celebration at Akumal in
October. Actually, it's three days - October 10, 11, and 12, 2002.
You'll have the chance to take special tours of CEA projects, take part
in presentations on CEA research and enjoy other get-togethers
exclusively for members.
Here's a very tentative outline of events:
Thursday - October 10, 2002
What is CEA Day. An Introduction to what CEA is and what CEA is doing.
9:00 am - noon Registration at The CEA Center.
1:00 "What is CEA?" presentation at The CEA Center
2:30 - Snorkel Tour of the Bay
4:30 - Tours of the Quarry, Wetlands of Akumal and ecobanos at school
and possibly a tour of the Akumal dump and Recycling Center.
7:00 - Social Hour
Friday - October 11, 2002 What research does CEA conduct? What does it
Show? (Government officials will be invited to attend as well as local
business owners)
9:00 - 4:00 CEA Symposium. Presentations on research at CEA and in the region.
5:00 - Social Hour
Saturday - October 12, 2002
9:00 - ?? Play Day (Specially priced tours for members)
