Valley View Productions is a small screen printing and promotional products company in Grapevine, Texas, located on the north end of the DFW airport. Owner Tim Cheuvront and his wife fell in love with the Akumal area about 10 years ago and try to get down at least twice a year. According to Tim, "We are currently investigating the possibility of acquiring property in the area so we can visit on a long-term basis. We've watched as the area has changed over the years (some bad and some good)." Tim saw a need to help CEA when as he told Lydia, "I was browsing the LocoGringo.com bulletin board when I saw Ed Blume's plea for help, no matter how insignificant. We just thought this was a small thing that we could do that would have a positive impact on a place we have come to love." Tim contacted Ed Blume and offered to design and manufacture T-shirts for CEA Members.
We thank Tim and Valley View Productions for their generous contribution. When we wrote to thank Tim he responded with, "If everyone who loves this wonderful, special place would do just some little thing like this, it would have a major impact in the long term, and hopefully preserve it for generations to come. Now that we know there is a need, we'll be looking for other ways (and other interested people) to help out. I plan on my seeing my grandkids running around on those beautiful, white, sandy beaches and snorkeling around LIVING coral. Anyway, didn't mean to get preachy; we're just glad to have found some quality people doing serious work that will hopefully have long-term positive impact and allow us to be a small part."
