Joseph (Joe) Mills was a biologist who truly loved turtles, having studied at university in England and observed turtles in the Yucatán in 1976. His family suggested contributing to turtle conservation in his memory, and his wife, Roseline, chose Centro Ecológico Akumal as the recipient, for which CEA is grateful.
