Dr. Robert H. Ginsburg, Ph.D., Professor of Geology at the Rosenthal School of Marine Science, University of Miami, Miami, Florida. Dr. Ginsburg is an internationally recognized expert on the geology of coral reefs, ancient and modern. He has participated in conferences held at Akumal, the most recent was the AGGRA conference to establish protocols for the rapid assessment of coral reefs.
