Alma was born in Mexico City. When she was eight years old, her family moved to Cuernavaca, Morelos, where she grew up until she was 19. Then she moved to Puebla to study communication. She focuses her studies and professional development on media regulations, development of new methods of analysis and discursive investigation, social responsibility, and the ethics of mass media. She has assisted in the evaluation and design of organizational strategies courses. She has created media promos, directed events and was a radio and TV presenter. Her free and determined mind brings her to Akumal, where she is delighted to work in a place where she can raise awareness and increase social responsibility. Now she is the Communication and Volunteer Coordinator of CEA.
