Hello!

Last Thursday, (4/24), my daughter and I experienced a great snorkel tour led by Alejandro.

I must say I was a bit skeptical at first, as Alejandro approached us on the beach and offered to provide the tour for $10 per person. Not that it was too much money, but rather we were a bit on our guard after spending part of the previous day warding off the aggressive vendors on 5th Ave in Playa del Carmen. Alejandro's courteous manner and lack of pressure, plus the promise of seeing eels, turtles, etc. won us over.

We have taken other snorkel trips (float trip along Palancar reef) and done quite a bit on our own (Chankanaab, Yalku, various beaches). I found Alejandro's guidance to be the best we've experienced! He did a great job pointing out and identifying specific species of fish, showing us species I would never have found on my own, and providing education about the reef and the behavior of the fish we were seeing. And perhaps best of all, he delighted my daughter by showing us a large sea turtle and helping us to unobtrusively view it's feeding and surfacing behaviors.

After seeing your website, my only regret is that we did not discover your organization sooner so that we could participate in the other activities you offer. Well, this was our "2nd annual" trip and we're sure to keep CEA in our plans for next year.
