Monday:
10:00 Welcome to CEA. an opportunity to meet the staff, learn what they do and ask questions. Refreshments compliments of La Ecocina will be available. Cost - Free.
1:00 CeMIR / Quarry Tour, a walking tour that offers a first hand look at the Quarry. Learn how to read the geological signs that tell us the history of the area and learn more about the future plans for the CeMIR project, an integrated waste management center. Reservations appreciated. Cost - Free.
3:00 Snorkel, cool off and enjoy a snorkeling tour with Alejandro. You may have snorkeled the Akumal bay thousands of times but you haven’t really experienced it until you get a chance to go on a tour with Alex. Reservations required. Cost $5.00 if you have your own snorkel gear – rentals are available for an extra cost.
5:30 Happy Hour, at Lol-Ha. Cost – happy hour prices.
6:30 Mayan Buffet at Imelda's Good Food, next to CEA Center. reservations required. Cost $15.00 usd

Tuesday:
8:00 Geology Tour, you’ve heard about the Big Bang ending the reign of the Dinosaurs, tsunamis ravaging the Yucatan coast and more ancient stories. Now take a walking tour with Dr. Charles Shaw and learn more about what geologists know. Wear comfortable shoes and bring some water. The walk will start at The CEA Center and end at La Buena Vida on Half Moon Bay, following the rocky shoreline. Take it from one who has done this, it is a great way to start the day! Reservations appreciated. Cost - Free.
10:00 Akumal Pueblo School Tour, The Sam and Charles Foundation has funded the Akumal Pueblo School Baños project and National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has funded the documenting of the project. Regulars on Bill-in-Tulsa’s message board and ladies from Mount Pleasant South Carolina have started a Scholarship Fund for children at the Akumal Pueblo School. If you would like to see first hand where these dollars are going and enjoy meeting some of the children then please join us. Mauricio, head of the Environmental Education Program, will arrange a time with the school. If you are thinking about bringing supplies or sporting goods this would be a great opportunity to take it to the school. Reservations required. Cost - Free.
6:00 Reception and Potluck Dinner, Taste of Akumal. Everyone is welcome to drop by. If you are staying somewhere with a kitchen and like to cook please bring a dish, if not then just bring your appetite. Many of the staff, volunteers and local restaurants will be supplying dishes. Reservations are not required but would be appreciated. Cost -Free, a dish or donation appreciated.
8:00 or approximately 1 hour after sunset. Night Snorkel with Alejandro. This is one of the most talked about tours on the Akumal message boards. Don’t miss out; the Coral Reef completely transforms itself after dark. We will meet at The CEA Center. Please sign up as early as possible this is a very popular tour. Cost $15.00 if you have your own snorkeling gear – equipment rental available.
