CEA offers a brief report of the Scholarship Fund for local school children which the organization helps manage. We thought a good way was to relay comments from those students who received the support The three students who received the grants this school year are Verónica Yahaira Dzul Domínguez, Geidy Karina Basto Euan, and Alexander Dzul Tuz.
Verónica Yahaira Dzul Domínguez has told us that she is very happy with the support she has received and wrote a message to the Kopacz family, in which she expresses how much she liked the gifts they sent. She also talked about her holiday festivities and that her brothers and sisters came to visit and that she received a doll for Christmas.

Geidy Karina Basto Euan is currently in the first year of junior high and from the town of Panaba, Yucatán. Geidy is the oldest of four sisters. The two middle sisters are in the third and fourth grades and the youngest is only three years old. Geidy likes most to go to school and be with her classmates.

Alexander Dzul Tuz, born in Akumal, is in the second grade. He likes school and loves sports, especially soccer.
CEA is proud to be able to help ensure that people’s interest in supporting local school children during the school year is translated into direct support.
